2 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 c. boiling water

Sift flour, soda. Set aside. Beat egg well then add milk, vanilla, then add melted butter to cocoa, then add boiling water. Mix well with egg mixture. Mix well with flour. Pour into 3 buttered pie pans. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

ICING:

1/2 c. butter, melted
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. can milk
1 c. coconut

Mix well and pour over cake.
