1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts
1 3/4 c. sifted cake flour
1 c. thick sweetened applesauce
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves

Mix well, bake in greased and floured loaf pan at 425 degrees for 45 minutes.
