BARBECUED ROAST BEEF ON BUNS 
1/4 c. vinegar
1 1/2 c. water
1/4 c. sugar
4 tsp. mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 lemon slices
2 onions, sliced
1/2 c. butter
1 c. catsup
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
4 c. of 2-inch beef strips

Combine first 9 ingredients. Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes on low heat. Add remaining 3 ingredients. Simmer slowly for 45 minutes. Serve on buns. Serves 6 to 8.
