MOSTACCIOLI NOODLE SALAD | |
1 lb. pkg. smoky links 8 oz. pkg. (2 1/2 c. uncooked) mostaccioli noodles 3/4 c. cider vinegar 1/2 c. salad oil 1/3 c. sugar 1 1/2 pkg. dry Italian salad dressing mix (mild) 1 med. red onion, sliced 1 med. green pepper, sliced (OR can use 1 sm. jar pimiento) Pour boiling water over smokies and let stand 5 minutes. Drain and cool. Cut into diagonal slices. Cook noodles according to directions. Drain and rinse in cold water. Combine vinegar, sugar and oil. Stir in dry dressing mix. Combine smokies, noodles, onion, peppers and pour dressing over. Stir well and refrigerate overnight or several hours. Keeps well in refrigerator. |
