LIMA BEAN MINESTRONE 
1 lb. lima beans
1 c. chopped celery
Handful of parsley
1 c. onions
2 or 3 cloves garlic
1 can tomato sauce (Del Monte)
Tubettini macaroni
(About 2 tsp. salt)

Soak beans about 2 hours in warm water. Cook beans until soft (about 1 hour). Strain to remove skins.

Chop ingredients fine. Fry all but parsley until brown. Then add parsley and fry a little. Put all of this into lima bean water. Boil about 10 minutes. Add tomato sauce and cook a little more. Cook macaroni separately until tender and add to soup.
