THREE BEAN BAKE 
8 bacon slices
2 c. thinly sliced onion
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 c. cider vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
14 oz. baked beans in tomato sauce
14 oz. kidney beans, with juice
14 oz. lima beans, drained

Fry bacon until crisp. Crumble. Drain fat. Cut onion in quarters lengthwise. Slice. put into frying pan. Add sugar, vinegar, salt, pepper and mustard. Stir. Cover and cook slowly for 20 minutes. Mix all beans with onion and put into 2 quart casserole. Bake, uncovered in 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes. Serves 8.
