SAUSAGE CORNBREAD BAKE 
1 lb. sausage
1 large onion, chopped
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/2 c. self-rising meal
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. vegetable oil
2 c. (8 oz.) grated Cheddar cheese
1 c. cream-style corn

Heat oven to 425°F. Grease 10-inch skillet or 2-quart baking dish. Brown sausage and onion; drain well.

Combine eggs, cornmeal, corn, milk and oil. Pour half of the cornmeal mixture into greased dish or pan. Sprinkle with sausage and cheese, then pour over the remaining cornmeal mixture.

Bake 30 to 40 minutes.
