PEAR HONEY 
3 lbs. ripe pears (9 c.)
1 c. grated pineapple
Grated rind and juice 1 fresh lemon
5 c. sugar

Wash, pare and core the pears. Slice before measuring. Put through food chopper using fine blade. Combine pears and pineapple. Add lemon rind and juice. Add sugar and cook over slow heat, stirring frequently for 20 minutes. Pack in sterilized jars and seal while hot.
