PEAR HONEY 
4 lbs. pears
5 lbs. sugar
1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple

Peel pears; run through food chopper using medium blade. Add to sugar. Drain pineapple. Add pineapple to sugar and pear mixture. Cook for 20 minutes, or until consistency of strained honey. Pour into sterilized jars and seal. Yield: 4 quarts.
