LEMON SQUARES 
2 c. flour
1 c. butter
1/2 c. confectioners sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Sift 2 cups flour and sugar; blend in butter. Press mixture down in a well- greased 13 x 9 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Beat eggs, lemon juice, and sugar; add 1/4 cup flour and baking powder. Place on baked crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar; cut into squares when cooled.
