MANDARIN ORANGE CAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 c. butter
4 eggs
1 sm. can mandarin oranges with juice

Combine all ingredients and beat for 3 minutes. Makes 3 (9-inch) layers. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes. After layers have cooled completely, ice cake.

ICING:

1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
1 med. can pineapple with juice
1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pie and pudding mix
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)

Mix all ingredients with a spoon. Be sure to add vanilla instant pudding as a dry ingredients right out of box. Spread on layers and store in refrigerator.
