MILKY WAY® CAKE | |
CAKE: 8 lg. MILKY WAY® bars 2 c. sugar 2 1/2 c. sifted flour 2 c. butter 4 eggs 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 1/4 c. buttermilk FROSTING: 3 lg. MILKY WAY® bars 6 tbsp. butter 2 c. powdered sugar Melt 8 candy bars and 1 cup butter in double boiler or microwave. Cream sugar and remaining butter until light. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Dissolve soda in buttermilk and add to cream mixture alternately with flour. Add melted candy and blend well. Spoon into greased 9x13 inch pan and bake at 325 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until cake tests done. For frosting, melt 3 large candy bars with 3/4 stick butter. Add 2 cups powdered sugar and spread on cooled cake. |
