BAKED LASAGNA | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 clove garlic, minced 1 tbsp. parsley flakes 1 tbsp. basil 1 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. tomatoes 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste 10 oz. pkg. lasagna noodles 2 (12 oz.) cartons lg. curd cream style cottage cheese 2 beaten eggs 2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. parsley flakes 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese 1 lb. mozzarella cheese Brown meat slowly. Add next 6 ingredients to meat. Simmer uncovered until thick, 45 minutes to 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Cook noodles until tender; drain; rinse in cold water. For lasagna, combine cottage cheese with next 5 ingredients. Place 1/2 noodles in 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish; spread 1/2 of cheese mixture over noodles; add 1/2 mozzarella cheese and 1/2 meat mixture. Repeat layers. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 6 to 8. |
