APPLES AND KRAUT PORK CHOPS | |
2 Granny Smith or Delicious apples 1 medium head cabbage 1 large sweet onion 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 c. apple cider vinegar 1/2 c. chicken broth 6 bone-in pork chops Peel and cut apples into 1/2-inch cubes. Remove outer leaves of cabbage; cook and shred. Peel and dice onion. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease large roasting pan. In large bowl, toss together the apples, cabbage, onion, salt, pepper, vinegar and broth. Pour into roasting pan. Place pork chops on top. Cover and roast two hours. Chops should be nearly falling off the bone. May be served with boiled potatoes. |
