1 1/2 c. smooth peanut butter 1 stick butter, hard 1 lb. box confectioners' sugar 1 tbsp. vanilla 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips 1/2 bar paraffin wax toothpicks Cut butter and vanilla into sugar using a pastry blender until well blended. Mix in peanut butter with wooden spoon until thoroughly blended. Shape into small balls and place balls on wax paper and place in freezer for 30 minutes or place in refrigerator for at least four hours. In top of double boiler, melt paraffin then add chocolate chips. Melt and blend well. Insert a toothpick into the peanut butter ball. Dip peanut butter ball into chocolate/paraffin mixture leaving a portion of the peanut butter ball exposed on top. Place on aluminum foil to cool. |
