OHIO APPLE CRISP 
3 c. chopped apples
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1/4 c. hot water
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. rolled oats
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt

Place chopped apples in buttered baking dish and add corn syrup, combined with hot water. Mix butter, brown sugar, flour, salt, and rolled oats until they become crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
