CREAMY BOWTIE PASTA WITH SAUSAGE
AND TOMATOES
 
1 (16 oz.) pkg. Farfalle Pasta (bowties)
1 (16 oz.) pkg. ground sausage (I prefer hot)
2 (15 oz. ea.) cans diced tomatoes with basil, garlic, and oregano (water mostly drained)
2 (15 oz. ea.) jars roasted garlic alfredo spaghetti sauce (I use Classico)
1/2 cup diced onion
2 tbsp. olive oil

Prepare pasta according to package directions.

While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil on medium heat.

Add the ground sausage and diced onion, brown the sausage.

After sausage is browned, add both cans of tomatoes and put on low heat.

Let the mixture simmer, stirring occasionally.

When pasta is cooked, transfer to a large bowl. Add sausage and tomatoes, mix well.

Add the alfredo sauce, mix well.
