PORK CHOPS MEXICANA 
6 rib or lion pork chops
1 tsp. salt
1/2 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. shredded cheese
3/4 c. uncooked rice (not instant)
1 1/2 c. water
1 green pepper, cut in 1/2 inch rings

Brown chops and arrange in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Season with salt. Sprinkle rice around chops. Combine taco seasoning, tomato sauce, and water. Pour over chops and rice. Cover pan tightly with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Ten minutes before cooking time is over, remove from oven. Sprinkle chops with cheese and arrange pepper rings on top. Cover and finish cooking. Serves 6.
