PORK CHOPS MEXICAN 
6 pork chops
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. uncooked rice (not instant)
1/2 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Brown chops on both sides in small amount of cooking oil. Put chops in single layer in baking pan, 9 x 13 inches. Sprinkle chops with salt then sprinkle rice around chops. Combine taco seasoning mix, tomato sauce and water. Pour over chops and rice. Bake tightly covered at 350 degrees until rice is done.
