BUTTERMILK CAKE 
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
4 tbsp. cocoa
Pinch of salt

Sift these ingredients. Make a hole and drop in the following:

4 eggs
1 c. melted butter
2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

Bake in oversized oblong pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

FROSTING FOR BUTTERMILK CAKE:

1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
Pinch of salt
1 1/4 c. milk
1 stick butter

Cook until thick. Add vanilla, coconut and nuts.
