CORN MEAL MIXTURE: 2 1/2-3 c. white corn meal 1 tbsp. salt 1 tsp. red pepper Mix well and use to roll tamales in. MEAT MIXTURE: 2 lb. ground beef 2 med. lg. onions, grated 1 tbsp. salt 4 cloves garlic, minced 6 tbsp. chili powder 2 tbsp. Gebhardt's chili quick 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. white corn meal 1 1/2 c. tomato sauce 1/2 can Rotel tomatoes & green chilies 50-75 tamale papers |
