PEPPER STEAK 
1 lb. beef chuck, cut in thin strips (cut meat across the grain for tenderness)
1/2 c. oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. teriyaki sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. water
1 c. green pepper, cut in 1 inch pieces
1 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
2 tomatoes, cut in 1/8 inch slices

Brown beef in hot oil and then add garlic and cook until yellow. Add teriyaki sauce, salt and 1/4 cup water and cook for 30 minutes. Add green pepper, onion and celery and cook for 15 minutes more. Stir in cornstarch blended with 1 cup of water. Add tomatoes and cook 5 minutes longer. Serve over hot fluffy rice. Add more water when necessary.
