GOOSEBERRY PIE 
1 qt. berries, washed
2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. tapioca
2 tbsp. butter
Dash nutmeg

Mix together in large bowl the berries, sugar, and tapioca. Then into a 10 inch pie plate lined with pastry, pour the berry mixture, add butter and dash of nutmeg. Add top of pastry, seal, and cut vent spaces in top. Bake at 400 degrees until beginning to brown, reduce heat and cook until done, about 45 minutes.
