3 eggs, well beaten
2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. Wesson oil
3 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. each cloves and nutmeg
1 c. nuts
3 c. chopped apples

To eggs add sugar and beat well. Add oil slowly to beat well. Add dry ingredients. Add apples and nuts. Put into cold oven and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
