APPLE NUT CAKE 
3 c. apples, pared and chopped
1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
2 c. sugar
3 c. self rising flour
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla

GLAZE OR CARAMEL ICING:

1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter (not the whipped)
1/2 c. Pet milk

Prepare the apples and add the nuts. Set aside. Mix the oil, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and the flour. Beat well and add the nuts and apples. Mix well and bake in a tube pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees.

Mix the glaze ingredients and bring to a boil. Let simmer for 5 minutes. Spread over the cake.
