BUTTERSCOTCH APPLE NUT CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. white sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 c. cold water
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. finely chopped raw apples
1/2 c. butterscotch chips
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Topping:

1/2 c. brown sugar
2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. butterscotch chips

Mix first 9 ingredients. Fold in last four. Put in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle on top.

Bake for 45 minutes at 350°F.
