POPPYSEED BREAD | |
3 c. flour 3/4 c. walnuts 1 tsp. salt 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. baking soda 1/3 c. poppy seeds 1 1/2 c. salad oil 1 c. milk 4 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla In separate bowl, mix oil, milk, eggs and vanilla. Mix dry and wet ingredients (except for walnuts). Beat for 4 minutes. Add 3/4 cup walnuts. Mix into batter. Grease and flour 2 bread pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or longer. Makes 2 loaves. |
