POPPYSEED BREAD | |
3 c. unsifted plain flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 3 eggs 1 1/2 c. cooking oil 2 1/4 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. milk 1 1/2 tbsp. poppy seeds 1 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring 1 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring Mix well. Pour into (7) 1 lb. loaf pans (spray with Pam). Bake at 350 degrees at 40 to 45 minutes. While still warm, pierce with toothpick and pour icing over: ICING: 1/4 c. orange juice 3/4 c. powdered sugar 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring |
