ALMOND TEA BREAD | |
CREAM: 2 1/2 c. sugar 3 eggs 1 1/8 c. oil 3 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder Add alternately 1 1/2 cups milk to all the above ingredients. 1 1/2 tbsp. poppy seed (or more if desired) 1 1/2 tsp. almond extract 1 1/2 tsp. butter extract 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract Grease and flour 6 small loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. GLAZE: 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 c. orange juice 1/2 tsp. all other flavorings Mix and pour over hot loaves. (Cooper) |
