LEMON TEA BREAD 
3 c. sifted all purpose flour
2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. sweet milk
1 c. plus 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 1/2 tbsp. poppy seeds
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. butter flavor

In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Set aside. In another bowl, combine eggs, milk, oil, poppy seeds and extracts. Pour liquid ingredients into flour mixture and mix only until well combined. Flour and grease two 5 x 8 inch loaf pans. Pour batter into loaf pans. Bake 325 degrees for approximately one hour or until tests done.

OPTIONAL GLAZE:

1/4 c. orange juice
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. vegetable oil

Combine all ingredients in small saucepan. Over low heat cook and stir until sugar has melted and glaze is warm. Prick top surface of bread and spoon glaze slowly so glaze will be absorbed. Add glaze to bread while bread is warm.
