LEMON TEA BREAD 
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. lemon peel
2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk

TOPPING:

2 tsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. sugar

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and grated lemon peel. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Alternate adding dry ingredients to egg mixture with milk. Mix a minimum amount. Bake in greased loaf pan for 50 minutes or so at 350 degrees.

Spoon on topping ingredients when slightly cooled.
