COUNTRY PIE CRUST | |
5 c. flour 2 c. lard 1/2 stick butter 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1 egg 1 tbsp. vinegar Cut together lard, butter, flour, salt and soda with pastry blender. Put egg in cup, add vinegar and ice water to make 3/4 cup. Beat well. Add this liquid to dry ingredients. Finish blending with fingers. Roll, bake or freeze. |
