CHICKEN OR TURKEY POT PIE 
Pastry for double crust pie or enough for top crust
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt and pepper to taste
Dash of Tabasco sauce
1 tsp. parsley flakes
2 c. chicken rice soup and water
1 sm. can diced carrots
1 sm. can peas
2 c. cooked cut up chicken or turkey

Melt butter and remove from stove. Add flour and mix to a smooth paste. Add salt, Tabasco sauce, parsley, and the chicken rice soup. Cook until thick. Add peas, carrots, and turkey or chicken. Mix together and pour into pastry lined pie plate. Cover with top crust and make air slits. Bake at 425 degrees for about 30 minutes.
