MY BEST FRIEND KONKEY DOODLE | |
1 lb. fresh mushroom 1 lb. Italian sausage "take out of casing" 2 lbs. ground beef 1 onion chopped 1 clove garlic, chopped 2 cans tomato soup 1 lg. can crushed tomatoes 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 lb. shell macaroni, cooked and drained 1 lb. cheddar cheese, grated Slice and saute mushrooms, remove. Add sausage and cook, stirring to break in small pieces. Drain off fat. Add beef, onion, garlic, cook until beef is brown, stir in salt, soup, tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce and mushrooms. Heat through; layer meat mixture, macaroni and cheese in 6 quarts casserole, ending with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Makes 20 servings. Freezes well. It's the best. |
