SQUASH - APPLE BAKE (Pass) 
1 med. butternut squash
1-2 med. apples
1/4 c. packed brown sugar or 4 tbsp. honey
1/4 c. butter, softened
1/8 tsp. garlic lemon peel
1 tsp. lemon juice

Pierce skin of squash several times. Arrange on paper towel. Cook on high 4-5 minutes, turning squash over once. Let stand 3 minutes.

Peel, seed and cut squash into 1/2 inch slices. Arrange slices in baking dish. Cut apples, core, peel and quarter. Mix remaining ingredients. Cover apples and squash with mixture. Cook on medium 17 minutes, covered. Let stand 3 minutes before serving. (Time must be adjusted to power of microwave.)

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
