CHOCOLATE CRINKLES 
1/2 c. vegetable oil
4 sq. (ounces) unsweetened chocolate, melted
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. powdered sugar, sifted

Mix first 3 ingredients. Blend in eggs, one at a time, until well mixed. Add vanilla; stir in dry ingredients, except powdered sugar. Chill several hours or overnight.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease palms with butter, butter or oil and make 1-inch balls; roll balls in powdered sugar and place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes. Cookies puff, then flatten somewhat. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Yield: 5-6 dozen cookies.
