HAWAIIAN SAUSAGE & RICE 
12 oz. sweet Italian links
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 lg. pepper, cut 1 in inch pieces
1 c. diagonally sliced celery
1 (15 oz.) can tomatoes, quartered
1 c. beef broth
1 (8 oz.) can pineapple, sliced
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
4 c. hot cooked rice

While rice cooks, cover and cook sausage in 1/2 cup water for 5 minutes. Remove and cut into thin slices. Combine sausage, onion, pepper and celery in large skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender crisp. Add tomatoes, broth and pineapple, (drain, cube and reserve juice) and seasonings. Cover, simmer 5 minutes. Blend cornstarch and juice. Pour into mixture. Cook, stirring until clear and thickened, about 2 minutes. Serve over rice.
