BISCUITS 
2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
2/3 c. milk

Mix all together. Pat into squares 1/2 thick. Cut with knife. Place 3-inches apart on pan (closer to be soft).

Bake at 450°F for 10 to 12 minutes.
