TEX - MEX SALSA | |
1 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 lg. onion, chopped (about 1 c.) 1 lg. clove garlic, crushed 16 oz. can whole tomatoes, well drained 4 oz. can mild green chilies, drained and chopped 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper 1/2 c. chopped black olives 2 tbsp. chopped cilantro or parsley Heat oil, cook onion and garlic about 2 minutes and cool. In a bowl mix tomatoes, chilies and other ingredients then add onion and garlic. Mix well. Good on hamburgers and - or chicken wings. |
