OATMEAL LACE COOKIES 
1 c. quick cooking oats
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. melted butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 slightly beaten egg
Dash salt
Dash vanilla

Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Line cookie sheets with foil. Line cookie sheets with foil, shiny side up. Drop batter by one half teaspoon on foil, far enough apart so they won't run together. Bake until brown, but watch carefully because they brown easily. Remove foil with the cookies on it. Cool cookies before removing. Store in airtight container. A quick, easy delicious little cookie!
