MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. white corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
6 to 8 qts. popped popcorn

Place sugar, butter, syrup, and salt in 1 quart Pyrex measuring cup. Bring to boil and then continue to cook for 2 minutes on full power. Add soda and stir well. Meanwhile, spray PAM on the inside of large paper grocery bag. Pour popcorn in bag and pour cooked mixture on top of popcorn. Fold down top of grocery bag and place in microwave. Cook on high 1 1/2 minutes; shake bag well. Cook on high 1 1/2 minutes more; shake bag again. Cook 1/2 minute on high; shake bag; then open and allow to cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
