MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN
4 qts. popped popcorn
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. white Karo syrup
1 stick butter
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. honey roasted nuts

Put popcorn into a large brown paper grocery bag. In a 2 quart microwave bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, syrup and salt. Microwave on high until butter melts. Stir. Bring to boil in microwave on high. Boil for 2 minutes. Add baking soda, mix well.

Pour on popped corn in brown bag. Close top of bag and shake well. Place in microwave and cook on high 1 1/2 minutes. Remove bag and shake well again. Return to microwave and cook another 1 1/2 minutes - remove and shake again. Pour onto cookie sheet to cool. Store in an airtight container. If you like nuts, add at the last microwave cycle. Freezes well.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
