EDNA'S CROCK-POT BEEF BARBECUE | |
1 (3 1/2 lb.) eye of round roast, cut in half vertically 2 tsp. salt, divided 2 cloves garlic, pressed 1 (10 oz.) can condensed beef broth 1 cup ketchup (Hunts) 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed 1/2 cup lemon juice 3 tbsp. steak sauce (A-1) 1 tsp. black pepper 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Sprinkle beef with 1 tsp. of salt. Stir together 1 tsp. salt, garlic, beef broth, ketchup, brown sugar, lemon juice, steak sauce, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour 1/2 the mixture in the Crock-Pot. Place beef in Crock-Pot. Pour remaining sauce mixture over beef. Cover and cook on high for 7 hours. Shred with 2 forks and serve on buns. Submitted by: Edna |
