R.'S SOUFFLE | |
1 1/2 lb. sausage or 2 c. diced ham or bacon 6 eggs, well beaten 2 c. milk 1 tsp. dry mustard 3/4 tsp. salt 3/4 tsp. pepper 1 c. grated cheddar cheese or 1/2 lb. American cheese, cubed Celery salt, optional 1/8 tsp. onion powder, optional Brown meat and drain well. Beat eggs, milk and spices. Cube bread. Add to eggs and milk. Add meat and cheese. Mix together and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes in 13 x 9 Pyrex dish. Serves with sweet rolls. |
