1 c. salt
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. alum (opt., a preservative)
1 c. water
3 tbsp. oil
Food coloring or tempra

Mix salt, flour and alum. Add oil, water and color (if desired) and mix. Check the consistency. If sticky, add more flour. Store in a tightly covered container in the refrigerator.

Recipe can be easily mixed and stored in a zip lock storage bag. If using food coloring add food coloring to water before adding to rest of ingredients.
