OVEN FRIED CHICKEN WITH HONEY BUTTER SAUCE | |
1 c. flour 2 tsp. paprika 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. butter 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 broiler fryer, cut up and skinned Combine dry ingredients. Dredge chicken in flour mixture. Pour melted butter in 9x13 pan. Place chicken in pan and turn to coat chicken with melted butter. Cover and bake with meat side up, at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Turn chicken pieces. Pour honey and butter sauce over each piece of turned chicken. Bake an additional 30 minutes or until tender, basting occasionally. HONEY BUTTER SAUCE: 1/4 c. melted butter 1/2 c. honey 1/4 c. lemon juice Combine all ingredients and beat well. |
