DOUBLE PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 
3 3/4 c. flour
2 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. peanut butter
3 eggs
1 (6 or 12 oz.) pkg. peanut butter chips

Sift dry ingredients together. Cream sugars and butter. Add shortening, peanut butter and eggs, beating until well blended. Gradually add dry ingredients and mix well. Add chips (if used).

Roll into one inch ball and press down, with fork, on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown.
