TEXAS POTATOES 
1 lg. (2 lb.) thawed, frozen shredded hash browns
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped onion or chives
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 c. sour cream

Mix all ingredients together. Put in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees uncovered for 45 minutes. 8-10 servings.

TOPPING:

Cheddar cheese or 2 cups crushed corn flakes and 1/4 cup butter.
