TEXAS HASH 
1 lb. ground beef
1 can (16 oz.) tomatoes
3 lg. onions, sliced
1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 c. uncooked rice
2 tsp. salt
1 lg. bell pepper, chopped
1/8 tsp. pepper

Brown meat, onions and peppers. Drain fat and stir in remaining ingredients. Pour in 2 quart casserole, cover and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
