STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE PIE 
1 qt. fresh strawberries
1 c. Bisquick
1/2 stick soft butter
3 tbsp. boiling water
1 c. strawberries
1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/3 c. water
3-4 drops red food coloring
Whipped topping

Put Bisquick, butter and boiling water in pie pan. Mix and roll into ball and then stretch to form pie shell. Prick several times with fork and bake in 350 degree oven for 8-10 minutes.

Take 1 cup of strawberries and simmer in 2/3 cup water for 3 minutes. IN bowl, mix 1 cup sugar, 3 tablespoons of cornstarch, 1/3 cup water and add to strawberry mixture. Add food coloring. Let cool 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Arrange remaining berries in pie shell, pour glaze over berries. Top with whipped topping.
